Bayley has been a mainstay of the WWE women’s division for many years now, but her current contract is up towards the end of the year.

Bayley made her debut with the company back in 2013, appearing on the NXT brand, where she cemented herself as one of The Four Horsewomen.

Now, she has taken something of a backseat to other up-and-coming names on the roster, but WWE still have plans to offer her a new deal, it has been reported.

WWE want to give Bayley new contract

At 36, the multi-time WWE Women’s Champion has had much success with the company and could, if she wishes, probably continue wrestling for many years.

It remains to be seen if Bayley will want to remain with WWE beyond 2026 or decide she is ready for a new challenge.

But as per WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select, the plan is for TKO to offer her a contract as they want to keep her around.

TC of WrestleVotes explained: “Bayley’s contract, I do believe, expires at the end of this calendar year. I haven’t heard that she has re-signed. All indications that I’ve got are that WWE wants to keep her, TKO wants to keep her.

“She will get offered a deal, don’t know what she is looking for, what would be in that deal, don’t know if she has got eyes elsewhere, other promotions, other parts of the world.

“Bayley has done a lot here [WWE], so she may want to see what else is out there at the same time. She may realise her worth here as a locker room leader and re-sign, I don’t know, but it does happen at the end of this year, so something to keep an eye on.”

Bayley has spoken about a different role in WWE

Fans would no doubt love to see Bayley stay for a few more years and be given a new push in the main-event scene of the women’s division.

But even if she does not plan to wrestle with WWE for much longer, she has previously mentioned potentially becoming a producer.

As per the Wrestling Observer, she said in late 2025: “I don’t know if creative-wise if I would be in the writers’ room or anything good like that. But maybe like producing, I would enjoy that. [On the Monday before the podcast was recorded], I sat for the girls’ match with the headset. And I’ve done it a few times, I’ve produced stuff in NXT.

“It’s very hard, and I don’t know if I’d be a good producer right now. I see myself more as like a coach or if I were to open a school, you know, coaching and stuff, it’s very different than producing.

“But then when I think, okay, however much longer I’m going to be wrestling, like, there’s still all the girls that I want to see them grow in their career. I feel like Roxanne [Perez], she’s 23. Like, okay, if I could be a producer and be around and producing your match, that would be awesome.”
