The prestigious accolade is awarded each year to the best player in football under the age of 21. And it’s safe to say that both Saka and Saliba more than deserve to be up for the Golden Boy award.
Saka solidified himself as a key player for both England and Arsenal this year. Whilst Saliba has flourished in two different loan spells in France with both OGC Nice and Olympique Marseille.
The Arsenal duo face stern competition for the award, which is decided by supporters online. As well as Saka and Saliba, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Eduardo Camavinga are also on the final shortlist for the Golden Boy award.
Indeed, Saka or Saliba could well win the Golden Boy award given the strong presence Arsenal supporters have on social media and the internet at large.
