Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kieran Tierney for Scotland tonight.
What’s the story?
Arsenal left-back Tierney was in action for Scotland against Moldova in the 2022 World Cup qualifier tonight.
Scotland won 2-0 to secure their place in the World Cup playoff.
The 24-year-old started on the left of a back-three.
The defender was rather quiet from an attacking sense, but defensively the former Celtic star was brilliant.
As you can see from the clip below, Tierney also made a brilliant challenge following the penalty save that Craig Gordon made.
What are Arsenal fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans were impressed by the display produced by Tierney.
Well, some of them anyway.
Tierney has had injury problems of late, and Nuno Tavares has been playing in his place for Arsenal.
And the Portuguese youngster has been doing well, earning lofty praise by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
However, with Tierney now back to full fitness and playing for Scotland, it will be interesting to see if Arteta brings him into the team against Liverpool.
