Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could finish above Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the Premier League table this season.
The former Arsenal star believes that the way Chelsea are playing at the moment, it has opened the door for the Gunners and Spurs to end up in the UEFA Champions League places in the Premier League table this campaign.
Manchester City and Liverpool are widely recognised as the two clubs who are set to end up in the top two positions.
Chelsea are expected to compete for the title, but the Blues are now 10th in the Premier League table with seven points from five matches, eight points behind leaders and London rivals Arsenal.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “The way Chelsea have started their Premier League season, they’ve brought Arsenal and Tottenham straight into the top four equation.
“I wouldn’t (be) surprised if both these teams finish above Chelsea this season.”

In our view, Chelsea should not be taken lightly, and the Blues could end up challenging for the Premier League title this season and could finish above Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the league table.
