Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin could be a useful addition to the West Ham United squad.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate do bolster his options in January, with his side still deeply entrenched in a relegation battle, just two points clear of 18th placed Newcastle United.
One particular area of the West Ham squad that needs strengthening is the midfield department, with the Scot making no secret of his desire to add further quality to his engine room.
With this in mind, thee 54-year-old should consider a move for Toffees ace Morgan Schneiderlin, with his future at Goodison Park uncertain after a succession of lacklustre displays.

The 28-year-old still has a lot to offer, however, and might just be suited more to the Hammers’ style of play, what with his box-to-box nature.
Whilst the east Londoners already have a player of that ilk in Cheikhou Kouyate, the addition of Schneiderlin would provide fantastic competition for the Senegalese star.
The West Ham man is inconsistent at times, and his injury record is far from impressive.
The Everton man would add a certain level of aggression and bite to the Hammers’ midfield, and his experience of playing at the very highest level would undoubtedly prove to be a valuable tool in helping the club’s younger players improve, and understand what it takes to reach the peak of the game.

There is an argument that bringing Schneiderlin to the club could hamper the development of Domingos Quina and even Declan Rice, but the truth is that both players could actually learn a lot from the Frenchman.
With the opening of the January transfer window just around thew corner, this will be one for Hammers fans to keep an eye on, and if Moyes does in fact manage to bring Schneiderlin to the London Stadium, it could turn out to be a significant piece of business for West Ham.
