Jamie Redknapp has said on Sky Sports Premier League (1:44pm, August 28, 2022) that reported Arsenal target and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto is “a world-class talent”.
The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has said that Neto, linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal from Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, is one of his favourite players.
The Sky Sports pundit has also said that Wolves should fight hard to keep the 22-year-old winger this season.
The Daily Mail reported this week that Arsenal are interested in signing Neto from Wolves before the summer transfer window closes this week.
The Sun journalist Daniel Cutts reported last week that Arsenal are willing to pay £35 million for the 22-year-old winger, but Wolves want £50 million for the Portugal international.

Jamie Redknapp on Arsenal target Pedo Neto
Redknapp said about Neto on Sky Sports Premier League (1:44pm, August 28, 2022): “I would (fight hard to keep him). He is one of my favourites players, this guy. 22 years of age.”
The Sky Sports pundit added: “He is a world-class talent.”
Making Arsenal better
In our view, Arsenal would be a better team with Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto in it.
Nicolas Pepe has left the Gunners on loan, so there is a spot in the Arsenal squad for another winger.
Neto has pace, scores goals, creates chances, and works hard for the team.
However, Wolves are unlikely to lower their asking price from £50 million.
After all, Neto is an asset, and the Wanderers will have to find a suitable replacement if they cash in on him so late in the summer transfer window.
