While Liverpool were in action against Manchester United last night, one of manager Jurgen Klopp’s reported targets, Jadon Sancho, was banging in the goals for Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool got the better of United with ease at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Also on Thursday evening, Dortmund won 4-1 against RB Leipzig in the German Cup final.
Former Manchester City winger Sancho scored twice for his club, leaving Gary Lineker impressed.

BILD reported last month that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking at the winger as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, as covered by HITC Sport.
ESPN has reported today that although Liverpool are also linked, rivals United believe that they are in pole position to sign the 21-year-old.
Sancho is one of the best young wingers in Europe, and the 21-year-old would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
However, the Reds will have to pay a lot of money for the winger.
Although Salah may not leave this summer, if Liverpool can manage to bring in Sancho, then it would be a stunning signing for the Merseyside club in the long run.
Sancho has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in the Bundesliga, and scored two goals and gave three assists in the Champions League this season.
