According to BILD, Jadon Sancho’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed by Jürgen Klopp, who would like to bring him to Liverpool.

That is, however, only if Mohamed Salah leaves Anfield.

As things stand, BILD claim that Liverpool don’t have the finances to make a big-money move this summer.

However, that would change if Salah leaves, although the German news outlet also expresses doubt over anyone being able to afford the Egyptian.

It’s no wonder that Klopp is a fan of Sancho.

The 18-cap England international is one of Europe’s best forwards, and has been for the last few years.

In 33 games this season, the 21-year-old has scored 12 goals while also recording 16 assists for Borussia Dortmund.

BILD claim that he would be available for less than the €120 million (£104 million) Borussia Dortmund quoted Manchester United last year.

However, he would still cost a monumental sum, and rightly so.

One man who’s a big fan of Sancho is Erling Braut Håland.

The Norwegian wonderkid has scored 37 goals in 38 games this season with the help of Sancho, and he’s certainly grateful.

Speaking to Soccerbible (via the Bundesliga), Håland said: “The levels of performance are so high and from the first second we just understood each other. Jadon is obviously a fantastic footballer and he can reach the very top.”

In our view, while Sancho would be an incredible signing, he is a vastly different player to Salah.

The Egyptian is more direct, and is much more of a goal threat than Sancho is.

The Borussia Dortmund gem is much more of a creator, despite the fact he still knows where the goal is.

If Sancho was to replace Salah, Klopp would also have to sign a new frontman to make up for the goals Liverpool would lose, in our view.
