William Saliba might have stolen the headlines this weekend for Arsenal against PSG. But Harry Clarke also had a pretty impressive weekend, with the on-loan Ross County defender scoring an outrageous goal.
The Dingwall-based club took on Livingston in the Scottish Premiership, and it was Clarke who gave Ross County the lead with a stunning long-range effort seven minutes in.
Although the Staggies lost the match 3-2, it was a memorable moment for Clarke, who has scored just three professional goals in his career. The defender has featured heavily for Ross County since arriving on loan.
The 20-year-old centre-back has made eight SPL appearances for the Scottish side. And the defender is progressing nicely away from north London, where first-team chances would have been hard for Clarke.
With Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes forming a solid partnership with Rob Holding and Pablo Mari waiting in the reserves, a loan move was the right decision for Clarke at this stage of his career.
Yet as proven by his goal for Ross, his second for the SPL side this season, Clarke is enjoying his time north of the border.
Arsenal fans applaud Clarke for SPL goal

With Clarke scoring a brilliant goal, it’s no surprise that Arsenal fans on social media are buzzing about the moment for the young defender.
