Andrea Radrizzani and Raphinha have responded on Instagram after Crysencio Summerville penned a new Leeds United contract until the summer of 2026 โ with his previous deal expiring next summer.
Summerville, 20, made his debut for Leeds last season and ended up playing nine times. There was some frustration at a lack of game time. Jesse Marsch did not include him in the matchday squad for the last six league games.

The Netherlands Under-21 international was being linked with the likes of AZ Alkmaar and Nottingham Forest. But he has now chosen to remain at Elland Road, penning a contract until the summer of 2026 with Leeds.
He is one of three new players to sign a new deal at Leeds, all of which were announced on Tuesday morning by the Whites. Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt also signed new deals. Summerville took to Instagram after his new deal.

It is a deal that Leeds had to get done. Summerville is an enormous talent and has shown that at Under-23 level. Is he good enough to start right now? No, but he has the potential to reach the level of Luis Sinisterra and Jack Harrison.
Right now, he is offering depth to those two โ as is Dan James. But he is one of the four options out wide. Sinisterra is injured with a hamstring issue, picked up against Crystal Palace during the pre-season tour of Australia.
So, getting Summervilleโs future tied down was important โ but even more so following the injury to the Colombian. Plenty gave their reaction to the wingerโs Instagram post, including owner Radrizzani and Barcelona man Raphinha.
