Wolves think Ruben Neves is leaving the club this summer amid interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Wolves played their final home game of the season on Sunday afternoon, drawing 1-1 at home with already-relegated Norwich City.
Rayan Ait-Nouri rescued a point for Wolves, whose form continues to leave fans disappointed.
Just three points from the last six games has been frustrating and Wolves have faded from European contention.
That now leaves Wolves open to losing midfielder Neves, who may well want Champions League football at 25.
Wolves think Ruben Neves is leaving this summer
Wolves players performed the usual lap of honour at full time having played their final home game of the season.
Neves looked particularly emotional and was welling up as he left the pitch, leaving some worrying that he was saying goodbye.
Neves has spent five years with Wolves and whilst fans were chanting that they would ‘riot’ if the midfielder is sold, a summer move could happen.
The Birmingham Mail now report that people behind the scenes at Wolves think Neves has now played his final home game for the club.
Wolves would want in excess of £60million though with any deal for Neves set to be a fairly expensive one.

Arsenal and Tottenham linked with Neves
Neves won’t be short of Premier League suitors and Sky Sports claimed in April that Arsenal have him high on their wish list.
90Min have since reported that Tottenham are also in the race for Neves with Antonio Conte keen on signing a new midfielder.
This one will almost certainly depend on Champions League qualification.
Arsenal and Tottenham are vying for fourth place in the Premier League and it will go down to the last day of the season.
Neves is unlikely to join a club without Champions League action and the clubs themselves are unlikely to pay £70million without playing in Europe’s top competition.
Wolves seemingly think Neves will be on his way out and the next week could shape his destination.
