For that to continue, you feel Arsenal need to recruit the right characters to carry on this current track, so how about bringing in a player who publicly has asked to leave his club?
That’s the scenario facing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Napoli because his agent has publicly spoken about his desire to leave and secure a new challenge.
This comes after interest in the winger from the Premier League, including Arsenal, as HITC revealed.
But former France World Cup winner Frank Leboeuf has slammed Kvaratskhelia for ‘insulting’ the fans and claimed that they will now ‘boo’ him and they ‘don’t like him’, as he told ESPN.
The 23-year-old is a hero in Naples because last season, he guided the team to their first Serie A title in over three decades when he and another sought-after target, Victor Osimhen, ripped the league to shreds.
But Napoli struggled this term and finished out of Europe altogether and it now seems that Kvaratskhelia wants out.

“What I am concerned about is I think the Napoli fans are being insulted right now,” said Leboeuf. “The club has been insulted by the agent.
“What’s going to happen if Khvicha stays at Napoli and goes back to Maradona stadium for the beginning of the season? The fans, they boo him and they don’t like him. What’s going to happen? It’s just a mess. Jugeli (agent) just put a mess into Khvicha’s brain.
“He has no other choice but to leave. If he comes back to Napoli, and we know the Napoli fans, because I played for Marseille and it’s almost the same fans. They are absolutely crazy about their club and the colour of their club. When you say that and do that, then you have to payback.”

There might be interest there, but it needs to be noted that Kvaratskhelia isn’t what Arsenal needs right now.
Yes, he might prove to be an upgrade on someone like Gabriel Martinelli and the depth of the squad would seriously get stronger.

But Arsenal need to focus on either bringing in that out-and-out striker, possibly a left-back or even a midfield player.
After spending so much on Declan Rice last summer, they can’t exactly afford to splash the cash even further and they might have to be a little bit more clever about how they go about things.
