Michael Dawson has predicted on Sky Sports News (1:15pm, August 6, 2022) that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will finish above Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the Premier League table this season.
The former Tottenham central defender believes that Liverpool and Manchester City will end up in the top two of the league table this campaign.
Dawson has said that Tottenham will finish above London rivals Chelsea in the standings.
The pundit said on Sky Sports News (1:15pm, August 6, 2022): “I think Spurs will finish above Chelsea this year. I do. The top two are on their own.”
Tottenham Hotspur to finish above Chelsea?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur do have a very good chance of finishing above Chelsea in the Premier League table this season.
Tottenham have made some excellent signings, including Ivan Perisic, and they also have a world-class manager in Antonio Conte.
We saw how good Spurs were after Conte was appointed the head coach, and the North London club are even better now.
Chelsea do have a very good strong squad, but head coach Thomas Tuchel could not get the Blues to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title last season.
Conte is a serial winner, and the former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager will surely want to close the gap between Tottenham and Liverpool and City this season.
