Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will get the better of Frank Lampard’s Everton this weekend.
Tottenham will take on Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Former Chelsea striker and BBC Sport pundit Sutton has backed Spurs to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 3-1 win.
Chris Sutton predicts Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Sutton wrote: “Everton were a bit underwhelming against Manchester United at the weekend, especially after taking an early lead.
“The Toffees defence has improved a lot since the last time they came to Spurs – they lost 5-0 in March – but United showed you can still get at them.
“I think Everton boss Frank Lampard will be quite pragmatic here, but stopping Spurs won’t be easy.

“Harry Kane is up and running and Son Heung-min is still in my fantasy team and is going to come good soon.
“So, Tottenham will find a way though. How comfortable this is for them just depends on when they score their first goal.”
Who will win?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur will win against Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
Tottenham may not be playing exhilarating football, but the North London club are getting the job done.
Conte knows how to set up his team to grind out results, and the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss will not be bothered if Tottenham play boring and defensive football even at home if that gives them the three points.
We think that Spurs will win against Everton by a one-goal margin.
Everton are getting over their injury problems and Lampard is a shrewd manager, but we do not see the Toffees getting anything at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
