Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed that there is ‘no chance’ Harry Kane leaves Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester United, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Premier League striker questioned why the Spurs hitman would ‘go down’ to Manchester United’s level.
Whilst it looked unlikely back in February, those at Hotspur Way, will be playing Champions League football next season.
Antonio Conte guided Spurs to fourth, ahead of rivals Arsenal and sixth-placed Manchester United, who will be playing Europa League football.
When Agbonlahor was asked about Kane possibly signing a new deal at the club, he seemingly suggested that he might because there is nowhere for him to go in the Premier League.
“There is no chance of him going to Manchester United,” said Agbonlahor. “Why would you go down?
“Manchester United aren’t as good as Spurs and they won’t be next season, I don’t think.
“The Manchester City move has gone. They have got Haaland. Chelsea have got Lukaku. They probably won’t be able to get rid of him. Then, where is the (move)?
“Liverpool, I don’t think would go in for Kane because of the amount of money it would cost them, so I think he will look at the project and how Conte has got them back into the Champions League.
“He’ll be thinking Conte can hopefully attract some more players to try and close the gap on Chelsea, then eventually go in with a title, but it’s unlikely.”

CONTE AND KANE SIGNING NEW DEALS WOULD BE TOTTENHAM’S BEST PIECE OF BUSINESS
Tottenham have already brought in a new face, with Ivan Perisic joining from Inter Milan to join Conte’s party – Real Madrid’s recent Champions League winner, Luka Modric gave his thumbs up to that deal.
But, whatever deal Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici push forward with this summer, nothing will beat what the fans crave the most.
That’s Conte extending his stay at the club and Kane also signing on the dotted line because that would then be the club’s best business of the summer.
Added with that, for the long term, it would also signal serious intent from Spurs that they mean business going forward.
