The Los Angeles Dodgers’ visit to the White House on Thursday highlighted the fact the Seattle Seahawks have not made the same trip following their Super Bowl win earlier this year.
Shohei Ohtani led the Dodgers to another MLB World Series title after beating the Toronto Blue Jays back in November.
Thursday saw the Dodgers make the trip to Washington DC to visit the President of the United States in the White House.
It has become standard procedure for winning teams to travel and visit the president in his office to celebrate their achievements
However, that invitation does not appear to have reached the Seahawks after they beat the New England Patriots in February.

Since lifting the Lombardi back in February at the San Francisco 49ers’ stadium, the Seahawks have been left waiting on an invitation from Donald Trump.
It must be noted that time is running out for the offer to be extended to the Seahawks, with the 2026 season only weeks away from getting underway.
Mike Macdonald has already admitted the Seahawks have not been invited to the White House following their emphatic victory over the Patriots.
“We’re going to get an invite, right? That’s how it works? Not really sure how it works,” Macdonald said during the Scouting Combine.
The invitation clearly has not been followed up on as the Seahawks are now just three weeks away from their opening preseason game.
Back in 2025, the Philadelphia Eagles had visited the White House by April.

The first time the Seahawks lifted the Lombardi, Pete Carroll led his men to the White House, where they visited Barack Obama.
“Welcome to the White House. Let’s give it up for this quiet, reserved bunch called the Seattle Seahawks,” the former president joked.
The Seahawks team in question included players like Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor and Russell Wilson.
However, it looks as if the current roster including Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be left waiting on their invitation.
