The news has been public knowledge since Monday, after Clark received word of his ESPN exit whilst on air during an NFL Live show.
It is a decision that has shocked the NFL world given Clark’s 11-year stint with ESPN.
Despite the reaction of frustration from most, 49ers defensive end Bosa took to X for the first time in four years to share his reaction.
Naturally, Bosa’s apparent approval of the news has not gone down well within the world of NFL media.

What Ryan Clark previously said about Nick Bosa
Back in 2024, Clark spoke on The Pivot about Bosa’s decision to wear a Make America Great Again cap whilst on media duty for the 49ers.
It was something that did not go down well with Clark, who called out Bosa for ‘taking a side of division’ within both the sport and the country.
“So it seems very clear to me. Nick Bosa understands that when you wear that hat [MAGA], you take a side. You take a side of division in a sport that’s supposed to bring us together,” said Clark
“I’m just waiting for all the people who comment under political and sports things to “shut up and dribble” or to “shut up and play football” to tell him to shut up and rush.”
Clearly, Bosa has not forgotten Clark’s comments on him, but celebrating the 46-year-old’s firing feels like a particularly low blow.
