LeBron James may risk his life every time he plays for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Philadelphia 76ers won the LeBron James sweepstakes after the former LA Lakers star announced his decision to sign a two-year, $8 million deal with the Eastern Conference side.

From a basketball standpoint, joining the 76ers gives James one last shot at winning the NBA Championship. But what about from his family’s point of view?

After all, his wife Savannah James, eldest son, Bronny James, and daughter Zhuri James live in Los Angeles. On the other hand, his younger son, Bryce James, lives in Arizona.

Shams Charania hints at LeBron James taking chopper ride to Philadelphia

Despite signing a two-year deal with the 76ers, the rumor mill suggests that James may actually live in New York City.

So, how does he plan on making it on time for games in Philly? Well, according to NBA insider Shams Charania, taking 45-minute chopper rides is one possibility for the King.

“Going all the way to the other side of the coast, and we’ll see will he live in Philly? Will he live in [New] Jersey? Will he live in New York? Will he take a chopper back and forth? We don’t know those answers,” Charania said.

A chopper ride from New York City to Philadelphia would take James 45 minutes from one side. This will be the fastest route for the 4x NBA champion.

But NBA fans are already worried about James’ potential chopper plans as they have been reminded of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who lost his life in a tragic chopper crash.

Either way, the only thing confirmed for now is that James has decided to conclude his phenomenal NBA career in Philadelphia.
