Unfortunately, Arsenal vs Crystal Palace will not be on TV in the United Kingdom.
That is because it’s a rescheduled fixture.
The amendment was made after Arsenal were drawn against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League Round of 16.
Arsenal were originally due to face Crystal Palace on Saturday 18th March at 3pm GMT.
However, the fixture was pushed back 23 hours due to Arsenal’s Europa League commitments on the Thursday.
The original date of the fixture was not allowed to be shown on TV in the UK due to the 3pm blackout rule, and therefore, it still cannot be televised despite the fact it is now taking place on Sunday.
That is sure to frustrate Arsenal fans in particular, who have hardly been able to see any of their side’s recent games in the Premier League title race.
The 1-0 win over Leicester at the King Power Stadium was not televised in the UK, nor was the 4-0 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal supporters in the UK were also unable to watch their side’s thrilling 3-2 win over Bournemouth on TV.
Hopefully, fans of both Arsenal and Crystal Palace can find a way to watch Sunday’s clash, as we expect it to be an entertaining spectacle.
