Why are Arsenal wearing white? Many have asked this on Google after noticing that the Gunners are in an all-white strip for their FA Cup clash with Oxford United.
Adidas have designed a traditional red and white home shirt for the north Londoners this season, as well as a slick black away shirt and also an eye-catching pink third kit.
A completely white kit – similar to what Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham often wear – is not among their usual strips.
So, why are Arsenal wearing white? Let’s take a look…
Why are Arsenal wearing white?
Well, you may remember seeing Arsenal in an all-white kit for their 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup last season.
The north Londoners wore the strip as part of their No More Red campaign against knife crime and youth violence.
At the time, the Evening Standard described it as a one-off from Arsenal.

However, the Gunners will be bringing back their all-white strip against Oxford United on Monday evening as they relaunch their initiative against knife crime and youth violence.
It comes after 11,502 knife offences were recorded in London between January and November in 2022.
That represented an increase on the figures from January to November in 2021.
Arsenal all-white kit for sale
Unfortunately, for those hoping to get their hands on the all-white kit, it is not going to be put up for sale commercially.
However, a limited number will be made available to those who volunteer in support of the No More Red campaign.
The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation, St Giles Trust and The Ben Kinsella Trust will be partnering Arsenal in their fight against knife crime and youth violence.
Each organisation involved in the No More Red campaign will have ten jerseys to hand out to volunteers, so get yourself signed up to the cause if you want to get your hands on the limited edition kit.
