Who is Daniel Jarvis? Many have been keen to know more about the prankster also referred to as Jarvo 69 after an incident on Match of the Day last night.

The popular YouTuber – who boasts almost 180,000 subscribers at the time of writing – has claimed responsibility for a prank on Gary Lineker and others during the BBC’s coverage of Wolves vs Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Jarvis has revealed in a video that he placed an old mobile phone behind the Match of the Day set, before playing loud sex noises through the device during Lineker, Danny Murphy, Alan Shearer and Paul Ince’s analysis.

So, who is Daniel Jarvis? Let’s take a look…

Who is Daniel Jarvis?

Well, Jarvis – who goes by Jarvo online – has been involved in a series of high profile pranks.

Jarvis has previously lined up to sing the national anthem at the Principality Stadium for New Zealand’s rugby clash with Wales while wearing the All Blacks kit.

Jarvo 69 – as he is known on Twitter – also hijacked the diving board in Tom Daley’s finale at the London Aquatics Centre in 2015.

Furthermore, Jarvis gatecrashed the Stade de France to celebrate with Real Madrid after their 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final back in May.

That is not all.

Jarvis has also invaded the pitch during an NFL game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as well as one more incident which landed him in hot water.

As detailed by the BBC, Jarvis was handed an eight-week jail sentence suspended for two years following a charge of aggravated trespass after invading the Oval pitch.

Jarvis hid in the toilets on day two of the fourth Test against India in September 2021, and ran onto the field of play wearing an India shirt before colliding with England’s Jonny Bairstow.

The 34-year-old was also banned from attending any venue where a sporting fixture is being held in England and Wales for two years, from travelling abroad for 12 months and made subject to a rehabilitation activity requirement.

Somehow, Jarvis managed to tape the aforementioned mobile phone behind the Match of the Day set ahead of Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Wolves at Molineux.
