Arsenal striker Nikolaj Moller has been called-up for Sweden’s U-20 side for the first time in his career.
In a statement released on the Swedish Football Association’s official website, the 19-year-old attacker will represent the Scandinavian nation over the November international break.
Moller will represent Sweden as they take on Nordic rivals Finland over two fixtures. The Arsenal attacker is currently spending the season out on loan with third-tier German side Viktoria Koln.
The teenager joined Arsenal in 2020 from Malmo’s academy. Moller is highly regarded as one of Sweden’s most exciting talents, with the striker often being likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic due to his physicality.
Despite a high reputation, Moller has struggled for regular football at Viktoria this season. However, this has mainly been down to fitness reasons, with the Swede injury his back in September.
In total, the striker has played over 400 minutes for the Cologne-based side, scoring two goals across all competitions. Yet despite this, Arsenal fans are buzzing for Moller over his latest international accolade.
