Here is how you can watch every game of the 2026 World Cup taking place on Friday, June 12, and into Saturday morning.

The World Cup got underway on Thursday night as Mexico, one of the three hosts, earned a 2-0 win over South Africa in a game that saw three red cards shown.

Following that tie, we saw South Korea beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in the early hours of Friday morning.

There are now two more games taking place on Friday/Saturday morning, and here is how you can watch them in the UK.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United Kingdom

Canada are the second host nation to get their World Cup campaign underway, facing off with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The two sides are set to kick off at 8pm BST on Friday, June 12, at the BMO Field, which has been renamed the Toronto Stadium for the duration of this summer’s tournament.

It is the first Group B clash of the World Cup and is available to watch via BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

A win for either side will, of course, send them top of Group B, at least until Qatar and Switzerland face off in their clash on Saturday evening.

How to watch the USA vs Paraguay in the United Kingdom

Due to the time zone difference, there is only one match technically taking place on Friday in the United Kingdom.

But the USA vs Paraguay is a Friday night kick-off in the United States, though it is scheduled for 2am BST on Saturday, June 13.

As is the case with Canada’s clash, fans inside the United Kingdom can watch the USA and Paraguay in action via BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

It is the first Group D fixture of the tournament, with Australia and Turkey not clashing until the early hours of Sunday.
