Is Poch coming back to Spurs? This particular term has started to trend as pressure mounts on Antonio Conte at Tottenham.
Spurs fans could be heard chanting the Argentine’s name at the end of Wednesday’s drab 0-0 draw against AC Milan, which saw the north Londoners crash out of the Champions League.
As a result, Conte could receive his P45 from Daniel Levy, despite the fact the Italian’s contract expires in June anyway.
So, is Poch coming back to Spurs? It seems he might be…
Is Poch coming back to Spurs?
Well – according to Sky Sports – Tottenham players, and also staff members, have been in contact with the South American to ask if he would return to Spurs.
It comes after The Athletic – a very reliable outlet – claimed that Pochettino would be open to coming back to N17 with those in the boardroom at Tottenham also interested in a reunion.
Sky Sports add that Levy “will be pragmatic” as he finds himself under huge pressure to rehire the 51-year-old.
Pochettino has been unemployed since being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain back in June.

The Argentine – who guided Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019 – has since been seen in England as he posts photos of himself in London on Instagram, so it would seem he is comfortable in this part of the globe.
Crucially, a return for Pochettino would be quite straightforward for Levy to carry out, as he is not contracted to another side, and Conte’s current terms expire in a few months, as aforesaid.
Pochettino impressively won 160 of his 293 games in charge of Tottenham, drawing 60 and losing 73.
Speaking on BT Sport back in 2020 shortly after he was sacked, the Murphy-born tactician admitted he would like to return to Spurs one day and win a trophy.
Pochettino said: “It was an amazing journey that finished in the way that, of course, no one wants, but deeper in my chest, my soul, my heart, I am sure that we will cross (paths) again.
“From the day that I left the club, my dream is to be back and to try to finish the work that we didn’t finish.
“We were so close to winning the right trophies, the Premier League and the Champions League, but we stopped and, of course, I am looking forward to moving on. I am so motivated for the next project.
“But, deep inside, I would like to be back one day because the club is special. The fans are so special.”
Now, a romantic return could be about to happen.
