Tottenham Hotspur’s away fans were taunting David Moyes’ West Ham United during their 1-1 draw against Sean Dyche’s Everton at Goodison Park on Monday night.

Before the drama of the second half could unfold, which included two sending-offs, a Harry Kane penalty and a long-range 90th-minute equaliser from a defender.

The Tottenham away supporters were reminding their London rivals at West Ham about the relegation battle they find themselves in.

Chants of ‘You’re going down with the West Ham’ could be heard from the stands, which was aimed at those in Everton colours.

That was noticed by some West Ham fans on social media…

TOTTENHAM’S OWN ISSUES

Unsurprisingly, the managerless club ended up providing the Toffees with a helping hand in their fight to stay in England’s top flight because that was a much-needed point for the Merseyside club.

Whilst those from Hotspur Way couldn’t help themselves but verbally jibe at their rivals, perhaps they should have looked closer than home.

That’s back-to-back games where Spurs have let a lead slip and conceded a 90th-minute+ goal, to a relegation-threatened team and, as a result, dropped points in their quest to finish fourth.

Perhaps those departing words from Antonio Conte that Tottenham ‘don’t want to play under pressure’ are ringing true.
