Jose Enrique is hoping that Newcastle United can pull off the signing of Benjamin Sesko by stating that he would be an ‘incredible’ purchase for the club, as he posted on his Instagram story.
Newcastle United started off the new Premier League season with a bang by beating newly-promoted Nottingham Forest 2-0 at St James’ Park on Saturday.
Eddie Howe doesn’t need a striker, from the transfer market, to come in and start because he has a certain Callum Wilson leading the line for him – he scored a brilliant goal against the Midlands club.

The issue stems from what is behind him, and there isn’t a lot, added to the fact that he has suffered a number of injuries since joining the club.
Rather than pushing for a senior player, the Magpies are searching the market for younger talent, as they did with Hugo Ekitike, who ended up joining PSG.
But it seems as though they have now set their sights on 19-year-old RB Salzburg star, Sesko and Enrique reacted with the following message to those rumours.
“What an incredible signing this will be for Newcastle,” said Enrique. “I hope this is true.”

NEWCASTLE CAN’T RELY ON WILSON
In terms of goals and performances, if Wilson can muster 30+ starts in the Premier League, then he would be an England international.
There are 16 games from now until the World Cup starts, if Wilson plays the majority of those games, then there is no reason why Gareth Southgate shouldn’t consider him.
But the issue he has faced is staying away from the treatment room, and when that happens, the Magpies lose that cutting edge and ruthless nature in that final third
Yes, Joelinton has played as a striker before, but ever since Howe moved him into central midfield, the South American star has transformed into one of the club’s best players.
Bringing in a younger face this summer would allow that individual to nurture themselves into the Premier League and learn from a top goalscorer in Wilson
And if need be, fill in for the Englishman if he isn’t playing, for whatever reason.
