Speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Kevin Campbell has been speaking about some of Arsenal’s future transfer activity and Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners have long been linked with Aouar, and while they’ve not been able to finalise a deal in any of the recent transfer windows, there’s every chance the Frenchman could be on the move in the not so distant future.
Indeed, the midfielder is reportedly looking for a way out of Lyon and given the Gunners’ recent interest, the London club could be in the mix.
Campbell was discussing potential targets for Arsenal in the future and he threw Aouar’s name into the mix.

“Could you imagine Vlahovic and Bissouma? No let’s stop that madness, we’re not going down that road just yet,” Campbell’s co-host said.
“What about Aouar as well? Why not chuck him in that mix, he’s available for at the end of the season isn’t he?” Campbell said.
Great suggestion
This is a fantastic suggestion from Campbell.
Think about it, at the age of just 23, Aouar would be a perfect fit for Arteta’s youth revolution at Arsenal, and he’s been a target for quite some time.
It’s not often that a player this talented comes onto the market, and while some may be dreaming over Dusan Vlahovic or Yves Bissouma, Aouar may be one of the best value transfers the Gunners could look into making.
Don’t be too shocked if the midfielder ends up moving to the Premier League in the not so distant future.
