Santi Cazorla has posted on his Instagram story ‘what a team’ after Arsenal won four Premier League games in a row when they beat Fulham 2-1 in a tense affair at the Emirates on Saturday.

It’s not happened for many, many years, but the Emirates Stadium was bouncing yesterday as Mikel Arteta’s side had to come from behind to maintain their 100% start to the new Premier League season.

The game broke into life in the second half when an error from Gabriel Magalhaes allowed the transformed and in-form Aleksandar Mitrovic to score.

But this is where Arsenal have changed because they didn’t allow their heads to drop, picked themselves up from the canvas, hit back through captain Martin Odegaard, before Gabriel made amends by scrambling home the winner from a corner.

It’s still early days, but there is something in the water in north London and there is great hope that Champions League football will be secured by Arteta this term – and perhaps more!?

One of the club’s favourite ever players, Cazorla, was watching on from afar and he sent his former side the following message, which he posted on his IG story.

“What a team,” said Cazorla with an image of him watching the game in the background as it concluded at the Emirates. “Keep going.”

BIGGER TESTS TO COME FOR ARSENAL

It has been some start to the new Premier League season for Arsenal and their fans have every right to celebrate, even if the celebration police are out in full force again.

There will no doubt be bumps along the way and even probably shock results, but when they come along, it’s all about how the team react.

But, for now, it’s about keeping that winning start going, celebrating even further, and winding up your Richards Keys and Andy Gray even more because it’s proof that Arsenal are on the right track.

Slowly but surely Arteta is washing away the days when the Gunners were being mocked for losing, now they are being criticised for celebrating when winning, so it shows a lot has changed.
