Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are keen on signing Wolverhampton Wanderers machine Adama Traore.
It was current Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo who brought the Spain international to Wolves back in 2018.
And according to AS in Spain, Nuno now wants him at Tottenham and a £34 million bid is being prepared.
Here’s how some fans of the North London club are reacting on Twitter:
Over-priced
Some supporters also pointed out that the Wolves attacker may be a tad over-priced at £34 million.
And to be honest, they’re probably right.
Nobody can deny Adama’s strength and speed, both of which make him an absolute machine for the Molineux club.
That being said, six goal involvements [three goals, three assists] in 41 games under Nuno last season suggest that Tottenham could be spending a lot of money on a player without much end product.
As mentioned, the potential is still there and at 25 he could get much better but, for now, it’s a very, very steep asking price.
