According to Defensa Central, Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Vinicius Junior for Liverpool next summer, and that could be a belting signing.
Vinicius has blossomed into a true star in La Liga this season, he’s netted 10 goals in 17 league appearances for Real Madrid, and his skills have been absolutely dazzling at times.
However, you shouldn’t just take our word for his talent. One of Liverpool’s players was apparently overheard giving Vinicius a lot of praise earlier this year.
Indeed, Fabinho supposedly had a lot of good things to say about the Real Madrid winger after a Champions League game.
What’s Fabinho reportedly said about Vinicius?
Marca reported on an overheard conversation between Fabinho and Florentino Perez after Liverpool’s Champions League tie against Real Madrid last season.
“With us you played as a right-back,” Perez is quoted as saying to Fabinho.
The Liverpool midfielder is said to have responded: ”Yes, but to play right-back now. What a player you have in Vinicius.”

Nightmare for defenders
There’s a reason Fabinho was seemingly glad he’s not a right-back anymore – Vinicius is an absolute nightmare to play against.
The winger is your typical Brazilian prodigy. He’s absolutely rapid and full of tricks, while this season he’s also added that extra finishing touch that he’s lacked for a little while.
He’d be a great fit for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side. He’s a brilliant inverted winger who would act as a brilliant Sadio Mane replacement.
It’s no surprise to see that Klopp wants to sign this incredible young talent.
