Luke Ayling has been speaking to BBC Radio Yorkshire about Leeds’ £17 million signing Raphinha, who recently joined from Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
Ayling said: ‘He’s sharp, he’s very sharp. We did a murderball and I was playing against him, he was very quick with some good touches.
‘He was sharp so it looks like we’ve got a good player on our hands.’
These comments should be enough to whet the Elland Road faithful’s appetite.
Raphinha is yet to make an appearance for Marcelo Bielsa’s side having joined just before the international break.
However, comments like Ayling’s are making his presumably imminent debut all the more exciting to anticipate.

There is no denying that Leeds have signed an exciting forward.
The Brazilian star scored nine goals and assisted five more in all competitions for Rennes last season, and began the current campaign for them with a goal and two assists in six Ligue 1 outings.
Additionally, the 23-year-old seems like a popular figure among some of football’s biggest names.

Two Portuguese stars in Bruno Fernandes and ex-Barcelona star Deco sent messages to the tricky winger following his switch to the Premier League.
Leeds have already scored nine goals this season, including three against Liverpool. Throw the flamboyant Brazilian attacker into the mix, and it is very, very exciting to think about how he’ll fare in white.
Raphinha could make his Leeds debut on Monday evening when the Yorkshire-based outfit welcome Wolves to Elland Road.
