Bruno Fernandes has reacted on Instagram by stating ‘welcome to the Premier League’ to Leeds United’s new signing Raphinha.
Late on deadline day, Leeds secured the services of the 23-year-old winger from French side Rennes on a four-year contract.
Raphinha expressed his delight at the move on Instagram and he was sent a number of messages from current and ex-players in the comments section.
Manchester United playmaker, Fernandes wrote: “Welcome to the Premier League brother.”
Ex-Liverpool man, Sebastian Coates wished him ‘good luck’, whilst ex-Portugal star Deco simply sent clapping emojis.
Leeds United’s Raphinha capture ends a pretty healthy and productive transfer window for the Yorkshire side.
Marcelo Bielsa has been backed and rewarded by those in the boardroom for his efforts not just during the early stages of this season, but ever since he walked through the doors.
Now it’s a case of the Elland Road giants continuing to wow the supporters with their aggressive, fearless and forward-thinking style.
