Hammers ace Marko Arnautovic spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s win over Stoke City on Saturday, and shared how he was disappointed with the fact that he did not score more goals against his former club, as quoted by the club’s official website.

West Ham were superb from the first whistle until the last against the Potters, running out comfortable 3-0 winners, and the 28-year-old played a key role in their victory, despite the fact that he missed some gilt-edged chances during the game.

The Austrian has really turned things around since David Moyes’ appointment as manager last month, endearing himself to the Hammers faithful with his 100 per cent commitment and application to the task in hand.

He spoke to reporters after the game at the BET 365 Stadium, and expressed his delight with his team’s win, although he did share his disappointment that he didn’t score more than once, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“I had a few chances and I was disappointed for myself because I wanted to score the goal, but in the end when I scored the goal and I released the fans and the players and everyone with the Club. It’s just wonderful to get the win. It was perfect.”

Next up on the agenda for West Ham is a trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night, and Moyes’ men will have total confidence in their ability to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
