Newcastle United are now facing competition from West Ham United for James Tarkowski, according to 90min.
90min have reported that West Ham are interested in signing Burnley central defender Tarkowski.
West Ham manager David Moyes reportedly wants to bring the 29-year-old to London Stadium on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
Tarkowski is out of contract at Premier League club Burnley at the end of the season.
90min have mentioned Newcastle as another Premier League club who are keen on signing the England international central defender.

Tarkowski, who has made 175 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, will surely be tempted by a move to the Hammers as a free agent, especially if they finish in the Champions League places.
Newcastle are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Telegraph reported earlier this month that Tarkowski would like to move to Newcastle in the January transfer window.
However, Burnley may not sell the defender to relegation rivals Newcastle in the middle of the season, especially after losing Chris Wood to the Magpies.
