TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has told GiveMeSport that David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in signing Liverpool target Fabio Carvalho in the summer of 2022.
Crook, who is a well-known and well-respected journalist, has claimed that attacking midfielder Carvalho is one of three Fulham players West Ham are looking at possibly signing at the end of the season.
David Moyes’s side are reportedly looking at Antonee Robinson and Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham as well.
90Min reported this week that Liverpool came close to signing the 19-year-old in the January transfer window.
The report has claimed that the teenager wanted to move to Liverpool and still wants to switch to Anfield in the summer of 2022.
Fulham have reportedly accepted that Carvalho will move to Liverpool, who are confident of bringing the teenager to Anfield.
Carvalho – described as “outstanding” by former Crystal Palace forward and Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison on Sky Sports News (11:17pm, January 31, 2022) – is out of contract at Fulham at the end of the season.

This means that, as things stand, the teenager will be available for a compensation fee in the summer of 2022.
Crook told GIVEMESPORT: “They’re definitely keeping tabs on a few Football League players for the summer.
“They’re looking at a few Fulham players – Fabio Carvalho, Antonee Robinson and Tosin Adarabioyo. All of those, I think, are a possibility.”
Liverpool or West Ham United for Fabio Carvalho?
In our view, West Ham are likely to be beaten by Premier League rivals Liverpool to the signature of Carvalho.
If the teenager is keen on a move to Liverpool, then it is hard to see how the Hammers are going to tempt him to switch to London Stadium.
Yes, West Ham could finish in the Premier League top four this season, but Liverpool regularly challenge for major titles.
