
West Ham United want Leander Dendoncker but it looks like the Wolverhampton Wanderers ace is now more likely to join Aston Villa.
The Hammers are in the market for another holding midfielder before tonight’s deadline.

Lucas Paqueta is likely to play further forward so West Ham may look to bring in an anchor man in the final hours of the window.
West Ham United want Leander Dendoncker
One name West Ham fancy is Dendoncker, who could be leaving Wolves in the coming hours.
The Birmingham Mail report that Dendoncker has been on West Ham’s wish list alongside the likes of Everton and Newcastle United.
Wolves have already identified a potential replacement with Metz midfielder Boubacar Traore wanted to take Dendoncker’s spot.
The 27-year-old is a proven Premier League player and has notched 159 appearances in all competitions Wolves, whilst teammate Max Kilman has hailed him as ‘top class’.
A combative midfielder who can even fill in as a defender if needed, Dendoncker is a valuable squad player and David Moyes seemingly appreciated that.
West Ham may have been hoping to get a deal done for Dendoncker today but their hopes appear to be dwindling already.
David Ornstein now reports that Aston Villa have had a bid accepted for Dendoncker.
Dendoncker now has permission to undergo a medical with Villa and a deal looks set to be completed before the transfer deadline.
Dendoncker heading to Villa Park enhances the possibility that Douglas Luiz leaves Villa, with Arsenal interested in signing him.
That means that, unless West Ham can come up with something special, they will be missing out on Dendoncker.
That leaves Moyes and co to look at other options with time running out for West Ham to add another body in midfield.
