West Ham United want Keane Lewis-Potter this summer with David Moyes believing that the Hull City star can be another Jarrod Bowen.

West Ham end their season today with hopes of taking sixth spot from Manchester United.

It’s been a great season even if they miss out; West Ham reached the Europa League semi-finals and proved they are moving in the right direction under David Moyes.

West Ham will need key signings this summer to keep progressing and another winger seems to be the focus.

Andriy Yarmolenko looks set to leave whilst there are already question marks over the future of Nikola Vlasic.

West Ham United want Keane Lewis-Potter

West Ham have been linked with Lewis-Potter for some time now.

The Athletic claimed in April that West Ham would be opening talks with Hull over a deal for Lewis-Potter.

The Daily Star now claim that West Ham boss David Moyes has personally checked on Lewis-Potter ahead of a potential deal.

It’s stated that Moyes thinks Lewis-Potter can become another Jarrod Bowen – another winger West Ham signed from Hull.

The report adds that Tottenham have also been watching Lewis-Potter after a recommendation from David Pleat.

Pleat and Moyes were both spotted watching Hull against Millwall in April and it seems that they were there for Lewis-Potter.

Lewis-Potter, 21, has racked up 12 goals and four assists in 45 Championship games.

Now an England Under-21 international, it seems that Lewis-Potter is indeed on the same path to stardom as Bowen.

Whilst Bowen is right-sided and left-footed, Lewis-Potter is left-sided and right-footed, meaning West Ham could unleash them together next season.

Lewis-Potter would cost around £15million this summer but West Ham seemingly need to fend off Tottenham to secure his signature.
