West Ham and Southampton have now submitted bids to sign Aston Villa and Everton target Terem Moffi.
What’s the story?
Well, both David Moyes and Nathan Jones are believed to have made their first moves to sign the Lorient No.13 – according to L’Equipe in France.
It comes after Foot Mercato claimed that Everton are also keen to sign Moffi.
Elsewhere, it was another French news outlet in Jeunes Footeux who revealed that Aston Villa are also hoping to sign the Nigeria international.
L’Equipe believe West Ham and Southampton have both submitted offers worth €15m (£13m) for Moffi.
However, Lorient have rejected both bids as they hold out for a sum of €30m (£27m).
Moffi has attracted the Premier League quartet after a stunning start to the season, scoring 11 goals in 17 appearances for Lorient so far this term.
Impressively, the Nigerian is level with Neymar on 11 Ligue 1 goals for the season, while only Kylian Mbappe has outscored him in France’s top-flight with 13 goals to his name.

L’Equipe also mention another side keen to sign Moffi – crucially, they seem to have made more progress than the Premier League quartet.
The French news outlet believe OGC Nice are determined to sign the Ligue 1 marksman as they prepare to say goodbye to Andy Delort.
OGC Nice also saw a £13m bid rejected by Lorient, and have since upped their offer to €18m (£16m).
L’Equipe believe this is also likely to be rejected, although it speaks volumes that OGC Nice have already returned with a second offer for Moffi – they are clearly very keen to secure his signature.
