Newcastle United and two other Premier League clubs have reportedly opened talks for Guingamp midfielder Clement Grenier, just a matter of months since being linked to West Ham United.

French newspaper L’Equipe claim Newcastle, Everton and Fulham are all in talks with the 27-year-old midfielder, who scored five goals and created another four in just 16 Ligue 1 appearances from midfield last term.

A five-time France international, Grenier is said to be available for just £2.65million, but is also claimed to be interesting Italian giants AC Milan as well ass Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.

Once believed to be the next up-and-coming midfielder in French football, Grenier suffered injury-ravaged spells at Lyon and Roma before reigniting his potential at Guingamp.

With only a year remaining on his current contract, Grenier has huge interest and is said to be in talks with all three Premier League sides.

West Ham were linked with a move back in the January transfer window, and was reportedly open to a West Ham move according to RMC Sport. But instead, he chose to move to Guingamp.
