The Lyon star has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham United over the past couple of days.

Reports emanating from France today suggest that Hammers target Clement Grenier is open to joining the east Londoners this month, according to French media outlet RMC.
The 27-year-old emerged as one of David Moyes’ key transfer targets a few days ago, with the Sun claiming that West Ham were holding talks with the Lyon ace over a proposed three year deal.

Grenier will be available on a free transfer in the summer, although he can be picked up for a cut-price £1 million this month, according to the Sun, and that would represent fantastic value in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market.
There is no shortage of potential suitors for his signature, however, although RMC claim that the Lyon midfielder is open to joining the Hammers this month.

Grenier is an orthodox central midfielder by trade – a position in which Moyes is desperate to strengthen, and he would undoubtedly be an upgrade on what the Scot currently has available to him.
And judging by RMC’s latest report, West Ham have every chance of tempting him into a move to England this month.
