West Ham United conceded a stoppage time equaliser against Crystal Palace.

West Ham United's Croatian manager Slaven Bilic looks on before the English Premier League football match between Southampton and West Ham United at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton,...

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s draw with Crystal Palace, and discussed the passage of play which led to Wilfried Zaha’s 97th minute equaliser, as quoted by the club’s official website.

West Ham find themselves in 16th position after yesterday’s draw, and the pressure will be once again heaped on Bilic, after he enjoyed some respite midweek following his side’s superb away win against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.

The Croatian will be seething, after his side should have had the game all wrapped up.

England's Michail Antonio takes part in a press conference at England's training camp in Burton-on-Trent, central England on August 30, 2016.

Instead of keeping the ball in the corner, Antonio gifted the hosts possession, and they went on to square the match.

And Bilic responded to reporters asking him about the incident which led to Palace’s equaliser, labelling Antonio’s part in the passage of play as ‘naïve’, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“With five or ten seconds to go, we were in a position where all we had to do was to keep the ball and we made the wrong decision. All we had to do is keep a hold of the ball but we made a few bad decisions in the last two minutes. Those couple of decisions were very naïve, but these things happen. The point is not bad, but not right now. It feels like defeat.”
