West Ham United have really impressed under the guidance of David Moyes.

Hammers ace James Collins spoke exclusively to the Mirror, and shared what he and his teammates knew they had to improve upon when David Moyes was appointed as manager last month.
The Scot’s impact on the West Ham squad has been plain to see, following their impressive return of seven points from their last three league outings, and they now sit in 15th spot in the table, two points clear of the drop zone.
The east Londoners are undoubtedly fitter, and seem to be playing with more commitment and passion than they ever showed under the guidance of Slaven Bilic.

Moyes deserves great credit for how he has transformed his group of players into a more unified, hungry outfit, although here is still a lot of hard work ahead of them.

“It is not one thing the manager has done. He has freshened it up. As a group of players, we probably had to look at ourselves and work a bit harder and that is what we have done. I think the boys are professional enough to know we weren’t performing enough. Results certainly weren’t good enough — it was there for all to see.”
With someone as experienced as Collins highlighting how he and his teammates were not working as hard as they should have, it is little wonder as to why Slaven Bilic struggled to get the best out of his squad.
Next up for West Ham is a home game against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday, where a win could see them climb as high as 12th position in the table.
