West Bromwich Albion will reportedly hand Giles Barnes a short-team contract.

West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the club are about to sign Giles Barnes on a free transfer.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 63, January 20, 2019), West Brom are ready to offer Barnes a contract until the end of the season (click here to read more).
Barnes has reportedly impressed West Brom manager Darren Moore and will earn a short-term contract.
This will be the 30-year-old’s second spell at The Hawthorns, having featured for the Baggies from February 2010 until the summer of 2011.
The Jamaica international, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Colorado Rapids.

West Brom are aiming to win automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Moore’s side are fourth in the league table at the moment with 47 points from 27 matches, seven points behind leaders Leeds United, who have played 28 games.
