West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made a decision on Giles Barnes’ future.

Barnes recently became one of the latest free agents that Darren Moore has brought in to train with the Baggies during his tenure. The likes of Wes Hoolahan and Bakary Sako both arrived in similar circumstances before penning deals with the Championship high-flyers.
The 30-year-old is said to have impressed Moore during a recent warm-weather break in Dubai, and could reportedly stick around for longer if he impresses during the coming months.

While neither Sako or Hoolahan have managed to force their way too much beyond the periphery of the squad, having players with that experience and quality must be beneficial as Moore looks to push those currently playing regularly.
Barnes joining may not be the most exciting deal that the Baggies pull off this month. And the length of the reported deal suggests that all parties are not getting carried away about how well everything will go. But it will give West Brom a little more depth, and could perhaps turn into a very shrewd piece of business.
