While Wesley Bryan does have a PGA Tour win to his name, he is now better recognised for his presence on YouTube.
It has been quite a while since Bryan’s lone PGA Tour title, which came at the RBC Heritage back in 2017.
He recently found himself suspended from the Tour after taking part in ‘The Duels: Miami’ a YouTube event, which led to some frustration over what he saw as inconsistent rules enforcement.
The 35-year-old feels hard done by and has openly criticised the way the situation has been handled. He believes there is an issue with how he is being treated compared to other players.
Bryan specifically pointed out that Brooks Koepka was able to return to competition straight away, while he remains sidelined despite being a former winner.
Even so, the South Carolina native still seems to have plenty of respect for the organisation and has not let this incident completely sour his view of it.
Wesley Bryan picks PGA Tour over LIV Golf

LIV Golf has not really managed to put itself on the same level as the PGA Tour, despite four years of trying.
Now that LIV events have been granted world ranking points, they might have a better shot at drawing in more top players over time.
But when it comes down to it, where does Bryan want to play?
Appearing on the Takomo Golf YouTube channel, the 35-year-old sat down for a lie detector test and answered a series of questions about his career preferences.
One of those questions asked whether he would choose the PGA Tour or LIV Golf if given the option.
Bryan did not hesitate with his answer: “PGA Tour.”
The lie detector backed him up, he was telling the truth.
Despite his suspension from the PGA Tour since April 2025, it is clear he still sees it as the place to be.
Wesley Bryan’s time on the PGA Tour
Bryan does have a win to his name, but his record on the PGA Tour has been hit and miss over the years.
Here is a breakdown of his career results:
- Events played: 134
- Wins: 1
- Top-5s: 5
- Top-10s: 9
- Cuts made: 68
It remains to be seen whether he gets another shot in PGA events.
For now though, he looks content focusing on his growing YouTube channel.
