Spurs are reportedly still chasing Wolves attacker Adama Traore, who has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the north London side are eager to sign the Spanish international. However, Wolves are set on retaining Traore this window, with Bruno Lage pushing to keep him until the end of the season.
As reported by ESPN, Spurs have been in talks with Wolves over a £20m transfer for Traore. Antonio Conte is eager to sign a new winger this month, with the Italian identifying the position as one that needs improving.
Whilst Traore has 18 months left on his current contract and Wolves would be open to cashing in on the former Middlesbrough attacker, a deal is proving hard to complete between the two Premier League clubs.
Indeed, Traore has been linked with a move to Spurs for what feels like forever. And as you can expect, fans on social media are now sick of the saga that seems to never end.
Former manager Nuno Espirito Santo was keen to bring Traore to Spurs in the summer. However, the ex-Wolves boss failed in his pursuit to sign the attacker in the off-season.
And now, it appears that Conte and Fabio Paratici are struggling to sign Traore, with Wolves proving to be a stubborn club to work with for a deal for the Spurs target.
