Tottenham Hotspur striker and Manchester City target Harry Kane has failed to show up for pre-season training.
According to Sky Sports News, the England captain did not appear at Spurs’ training ground this morning. Kane was due to return for pre-season following a short holiday following Euro 2020.
As reported by BBC Sport, Kane is eager to move to City this summer. Furthermore, the attacker believes he has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Spurs which allows him to seek a new move.
However, Tottenham are certain that no agreement exists in Kane’s contract. Daniel Levy has dug his heels in this summer and is eager to retain his star striker.
Indeed, City are in the market for a striker this window, and Kane appears to be the club’s top priority and the striker is eager to link up with Pep Guardiola’s side.
This decision from Kane will no doubt have massive ramifications on his future with Tottenham.
