Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to Harry Kane’s comments about Mauricio Pochettino.
With the Tottenham dugout currently empty, names have been flying, left, right and centre as to who could fill that empty seat.
From Inter’s recently departed boss, Antonio Conte, who won Serie A this season to a potential surprise in the offing and Pochettino returning to the club.
Either way, Kane told the Evening Standard that he sees Pochettino as a ‘great friend’ but refused to comment on his future.
Not only do the Spurs fans want a manager that will lift the spirits in North London, but they also want someone who can ensure their star man stays on board.
Sky Sports reported last month that Kane has once again expressed his desire to leave Spurs as he tries to add team medals around his neck.
Tottenham’s current situation doesn’t help Kane’s cause because whilst the club is declining, he just produced the best season of his career as he finished as highest goals scorer and assist maker this season.
If Spurs do pull off a surprise and appoint Pochettino then it will be interesting to see what happens with Kane.
Added with needing a fresh face that can take the club forward, Spurs also need a manager who will insist and has the pull to keep Kane at the club.
