Jose Enrique has claimed on Twitter that Alisson Becker has been Liverpool’s ‘most consistent performer’ since he joined the club back in 2018.
On Wednesday night, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who are sitting fifth in the Premier League table, kept their Champions League dreams alive by securing a narrow 1-0 win over Fulham.
Whilst Michael Owen and Shaun Wright-Phillips argued over the awarding of the penalty, it was another top performance in between the sticks from Alisson Becker.

In what has been a pretty rocky season for the Reds, which could see them miss out on Champions League football for next season, one man that hasn’t dropped off has been their Brazilian star.
The 30-year-old will probably win the club’s Player of the Season, and in truth, if it wasn’t for the £150k-a-week player (Spotrac), then things would probably be much worse for the team.
But, for Jose Enrique, he has taken it a step further and suggested that during these last five years, he has been the ‘most consistent’ of them all.
ALISSON IS ONE OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE’S BEST
It seems as though many changes are going to be made to Liverpool’s team ahead of the summer transfer window – although, Michael Owen isn’t a fan of it and has explained why ‘it drives me insane’.
But whilst new midfield players and defenders are set to enter the building, one area that will remain untouched is the goalkeeping position.
For another six or seven years, Alisson, if he wishes to end his career on Merseyside, can keep that role because he is proving to be one of the Premier League’s best-ever.
