Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has given his verdict on Kostas Tsimikas after the match against Brentford at Anfield.
Jota has said how important Tsimikas is to the Liverpool team.
So, what has Diogo Jota said about his Liverpool teammate Kostas Tsimikas?
Let’s take a look.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool got the better of Brentford 3-0 at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah scored two goals.
Diogo Jota also found the back of the net once.
Kostas Tsimikas started the match for Liverpool at left-back.
Tsimikas gave two assists.
The 27-year-old has made three starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season.
The Liverpool no. 21 made nine starts and 11 substitute appearances in the league last season.
Jota told Liverpool’s official website about Tsimikas: “Yeah, two assists.
“It’s important for him to give him confidence as well, we need him, we need everybody.
“Today’s game will be important for everyone.”
Kostas Tsimikas a good option for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp
In my opinion, Kostas Tsimikas is a squad player for Liverpool.
I do not think that Tsimikas will ever become the number one left-back for Liverpool.
Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back for Liverpool.

Robertson is one of the best left-backs around and is at the top of his game at the age of 29.
The Scotland international is on the sidelines at the moment after an operation on a shoulder injury.
I believe that when Roberton recovers fully, he will slot straight into the Liverpool starting lineup regardless of how Tsimikas is playing at the time.
However, Tsimikas is a very capable left-back who can do the job when needed.
After all, the 27-year-old is a Greece international and has been on the books of Liverpool since 2020.
Liverpool do not sign players unless they are very good.
Tsimikas has made 40 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The left-back has given eight assists and kept six clean sheets in those games.
